I
am a daily painter!
While it is not feasible for me to do a complete painting every day at
the same time I am involved in career and other obligations, I have found
it is possible to paint a little every day accomplishing several small paintings
a week.
The small size is a great format to explore various subjects and techniques.
This allows me to play with ideas
and see how they work and how they can be fine tuned. And, most importantly,
it is a way to be accountable to continue with my goal.
I believe there is a correlation between frequency and fluency... and
because as an artist I always want to be
more fluent with my expression, I've found that this idea achieves that.
I post photos of my daily work here and on my art blog, Brushstrokes,
etc.
These small paintings are offered for sale for the prices noted.
