Lincoln Marsh Woods

From my wanderings in the local forest preserve, I keep coming back to this spot ~
right where marsh and woodlands meet.
I love the dichotomy of the 2 spaces and the seeming reach of the trees toward the marsh grasses.
This rendering uses watercolor to express the range of colors in this magical location.
